The entire St. Symphorosa family/community would like to welcome Mrs. Susan Conterno-Mekarski. Mrs. Mekarski has accepted the position of School Principal and will begin on August 10. Susan brings an extensive background in the field of education, along with a proven record of successes in the ongoing support of students, parents and faculty. In addition, Mrs. Mekarski’s leadership qualities have been instrumental in guiding Chicago area high schools, while serving in the capacity of Principal and Assistant Principal.
St. Symphorosa Parish is proud to have Mrs. Mekarski on board and directing the educational advancement of our outstanding school. We are confident that her energy and experience will continue to drive exciting accomplishments, as we face the challenges of Catholic education. St. Symphorosa School has mapped out an aggressive path, the vision requires a continued commitment to leadership, hard work and dedication. Likewise, Mrs. Mekarski possesses all of these qualities.
Every school year is filled with a renewed sense of excitement and wonder, as our young people continue to expand their faith and knowledge.
