Marguerite Skimel was a student at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Grammar School, Maria High School and then received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Chicago State University. Marguerite also holds a Master’s Degree in Education. She has been a teacher for 27 years, with the past five years at St. Syms. Marguerite’s calm, caring and nurturing influence brings out the best in her students and they hold her in high esteem. She is married with three children. In the summer months, Marguerite likes to travel. She has been nominated for Who’s Who Among American Teachers.
